چکیده
Objective: To compare postoperative analgesia after wound infiltration with ropivacaine alone and dexmedetomidine in spine fixation surgeries prosthesis. This is aprospective randomized double-blind clinical trial.
Methods: A total of 60 patients were recruited this study based on inclusion exclusion criteria. Written informed consent was obtained from every patient. Patients by computer-generated randomization into two groups. Group R received an injection 0.5% a dose 2 mg/kg for infiltration, while those group RD 0.5mcg/Kg along at the end surgery. observed till 24 h postoperatively. VAS score, duration analgesia, rescue analgesic consumption, any side effects noted specified time intervals.
Results: score found to be lower interval postoperatively, p value = 0.004. Time first demand 281.43±11.1 min it 912.57±52.61 RD. difference statistically significant (p 0.01). In R, 200±39.39 mg tramadol consumed as analgesic, 136.67±28.42 post-operatively. Tramadol consumption significantly low =0.007). No effect either groups.
Conclusion: Based our study, we conclude that adjuvant local improves profile, increase reduces opioid requirement undergoing

Comparison of Ropivacaine Alone versus Ropivacaine with Dexamethasone in Caudal Block for Pediatric Post-operative Analgesia
Background: Caudal block is a regional anesthesia technique most commonly used for post-operative analgesia in children undergoing infraumbilical surgeries. The local anesthetics used in caudal block have the shortcoming of less duration of action which can be increased by adding adjuncts. The aim of our study was to compare the duration of post-operative analgesia when 0.2% ropivacaine versus ...

BACKGROUND To test the hypothesis that 5 mg/mL tramadol is superior to 3 ?g/mL fentanyl when combined with 0.125% ropivacaine in parturients undergoing labor during epidural analgesia. METHODS Sixty-one parturients undergoing labor selected for delivery with epidural analgesia were randomized into two groups: Group tramadol (0.125% ropivacaine plus tramadol 5 mg/mL) and Group fentanyl (0.125%...
